DRAFTSPERSON
Looking
to fill two positions:
1. Pressure
equipment draftsperson who will be drafting pressure vessels and
associated equipment that is used in Oil and Gas production equipment.
2. Hook-up draftsperson
who will be developing P&IDs and equipment layouts.
Preference will
be given to candidates with drafting experience in a pressure vessel
shop however new technology graduates will be considered.

Job
Description:
Under general supervision, the SUB-ARC WELDING TECHNICIAN is specifically
responsible for the implementation and utilization of twin wire
and twin head sub-arc welding equipment in Alco's shop.
Specific
Job Requirements:
In addition to the implementation of the sub-arc equipment described
above, the incumbent will focus on improving the efficiency of the
shop's production welding.
Nature and
Scope of Position:
The SUB-ARC WELDING TECHNICIAN will initially report directly to
the V.P. - Operations but will also work closely with the general
welding foreman. The incumbent will be expected to help integrate
newer welding processes into the shop and eventually assume the
role of Alco's welding specialist.

(Job testing to SMAW will be required prior to hiring)
