Liquified Petroleum
Gas (L.P.G.) in your gas stream can be a nuisance, (if the hydrocarbon
dew point is slightly over specification) or a significant source
of revenue if the gas is rich in heavier hydrocarbons.
ALCO Gas &
Oil has over twenty-five years of experience in the engineering
design and fabrication of plants to remove these hydrocarbons.

We can custom
design and fabricate modular plants to extract C3+ or C5+. Fractionation
facilities an be designed to produce C3+ products as required.
|
| There
are more than two hundred plants designed and fabricated by ALCO Gas
& Oil Production Equipment Ltd. in service at this time. These
units range in size from 500,000 SCFD (15 x 10³ m³/d) to
100,000,000 SCFD (3,000 x 10³ m³/d). |

ALTERNATIVES
for removing the L.P.G.; vary from relatively simple Joule Thompson
(J.T.) or choke plants, through refrigeration plants to highly sophisticated
packages (such as lean oil absorption or turbo expander processes)
recovering in excess of 90% of the propane plus components. In order
to select the appropriate process, it is necessary to know the value
of each product stream (including the gas stream) and the utility
costs (including fuel gas). If costs are provided, ALCO Gas &
Oil can recommend an optimum design based on capital cost, operating
costs and the time value of money. All of these processes would include
dehydration of the gas stream (and in some instances the liquid hydrocarbon
streams).
OPTIONS offered routinely include inlet separation and/or slug
catching, inlet compression, recycling of de-ethanizer or stabilizer
overheads, hot oil or hot glycol heater, fractionation of the L.P.G.
product, power generation, flare system, metering, control (i.e. remote,
local, computer, etc.), gas engine drive or electric motor, and spares.
